Preston North End 3 Yeovil Town 2

29th Sept 2012
15:00
Deepdale

The odd goal in five saw Preston overcome Yeovil at Deepdale on Saturday afternoon.

Gavin Williams' (6) early penalty put Yeovil into the lead, which they took into the half time break.

Preston were level just before the hour when Jeffrey Monakana (57) struck and he set-up a Chris Beardsley (64) goal to see them come from behind to lead. Yeovil then had Ed Upson sent off for a second booking.

With time running out a Dan Burn (86) own goal looked to have secured the points before Burn (87) then scored at the right end a minute later to reduce the deficit again but it wasn't enough with Preston seeing through a 3-2 win.
