Johnson Fears March For Oldham

Johnson Fears March For Oldham

Gary Johnson has expressed his concern that we might not be able to reschedule our trip to Oldham until March.

The already re-arranged game was obviously postponed again last night following heavy snow and unfortunately Yeovil had already traveled up and it's a trip we now have to make again at some point.

Speaking to the Western Morning News Johnson explained.

'When you look at the fixture list now, there are not too many gaps. The next proper gap where they haven't got a game either is something like March. When you travel all that way, you want to get the game in. The reason why I'm frustrated is because, the two times that we could have got ourselves into the play offs, the game has been cancelled. We are disappointed, and if this happens too many more times we are not going to have too many weeks left in the season.'

Johnson does add however that he in no way blames Oldham for the postponement as he knows they did all they could as he attended the stadium at 2pm following the pitch check, and once the snow came down again Johnson described it as 'very slushy'.
