Gary Johnson has heaped praise on January Player of the Month Paddy Madden, following his performance against Scunthorpe.
The manager was delighted with the performance of the team as a whole, and he thought Madden was outstanding, and probably deserved to increase his tally on the day.
'It was another great day for us, we are in a rich vein of form. Paddy could've had a few more goals, but he's a class finisher and it's his work rate which we're proud of. We deserve to be where we are in the league.'
Johnson called our performance, especially on a pitch like that, miraculous and added that he's very proud of the efforts of the team as they are getting what they deserve during games.
Again though, he's not going to let anybody get carried away. Enjoy our league position and the performances for what they are, but he says again that there are plenty of games left that we have to fight for before we take anything for granted.
