'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Johnson Content With Point

Gary Johnson has said he's relatively content with a point following the Doncaster game, because he knew they would always come back at us after the early goal, and even though he admits it's disappointing to see our winning streak come to an end, there are positives he will take.

'We can't be too unhappy that we've come to one of our main promotion rivals and gone away with a point. It wasn't a classic game of football, it was a match between two teams that couldn't afford to lose.'

Johnson adds that the pitch on the day didn't do anyone any favours in terms of producing an attractive game, but he was pleased with how the team dug in and made sure we came away with something when Rovers had their period on top.

He also added he may look to the loan market following injuries to James Hayter and Jamie McAllister, to ensure the squad has some depth, because he doesn't either to be back for Tuesdays game and they may both miss a few more.
