Promotion Belief Is Growing

Gary Johnson has said it was a difficult test against Tranmere today, but the belief that we can get ourselves promoted is growing with every game.

Speaking to the BBC after the 1-0 win, the manager said that the fans, like the players, were starting to believe that we can sustain this challenge for a top two place and that is giving everyone all the confidence in the world to go out there and go for it.

'We created a lot more opportunities. They're still up there and we know that a 1-0 win is a super result. The fans are beginning to believe that we've got a team who can challenge for promotion.'

Only three points off second place looking at the table, we are certainly still well within a shout of sneaking our way up there, especially if we can go another run of consecutive wins.
