Johnson Play Off Spot First

Gary Johnson has said he is hopeful that we can secure a play off spot first, and then use the final games of the season to attack the automatic places.

Speaking to the Western Morning News Johnson explained that he hoped we would have tied up our play off position by the end of the month, so then we can go all guns for an automatic spot.

'We are not quite there in our fourth block of ten. Then I will worry about the last six games. In each ten we have been improving. After 40 we need to see where we are. If we have consolidated our place that's where we need to be. With six games to go if you're to give it a real go, that's where you need to be - in the top 6. We are right in there, competing with the top teams and we have got as good a chance as anyone else of reaching our ambitions.'
