'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Johnson Confident Players Will Re-sign

Gary Johnson has said that following preliminary talks he is confident Foley, Dawson, Young and Ralph will sign extended deals at the club.

Speaking to the Western Gazette the manager said that he feels their decisions will repeat his own, in as much as how can you leave the club now that we've achieved promotion to the Championship and not have a stab at that level and see what else we can achieve.

'We're already had preliminary talks and I'm pretty sure they will all stay. How can you leave somewhere by choice with not just what we've achieved uthow we've achieved it?'

Johnson says that contract talks are very relaxed around the club because of the buzz everyone is still feeling from last season's promotion and he's confident that everyone wants to play their part.
