Hennessey Looks Forward
Goalkeeper Wayne Hennessey has said he hopes his loan spell at Yeovil will help put him back in the thoughts of Welsh manager Chris Coleman.
Hennessey is stuck on 38 caps and hasn't played for the national side since November 2011 after picking up his injury.
He's played the few games since joining us and has been recalled to the squad for their qualifiers against Macedonia and Serbia, and he's admitted that getting his national place back is one of the reasons he wanted to get regular football again.
'Of course it's something I'm targeting. Boaz has gone in and done well, but the only goalkeeper who was playing weekly was Owain fon Williams, sop hopefully me back playing games will ask some questions for Chris Coleman and we'll see.'
Good sign for him to be called back into the squad after only a few games this season, as any pitch time he does get for Wales will only increase his fitness and sharpness and benefit us whilst he's here.
