Injury Ruins Tate Loan Spell

Injury Ruins Tate Loan Spell

Defender Alan Tate has been ruled out of action for between six to eight weeks after sustaining a hamstring injury.

The defender joined on loan from Premiership side Swansea City and was originally due to remain at the club until January 2nd.

Unfortunately a scan this week confirmed that he had suffered a grade 2 hamstring injury and it's been agreed between the two clubs that the 31 year old will return to Swansea for treatment and rehabilitation.

Since joining Yeovil, he has played six times for Gary Johnson, with four of those appearances coming in the league.

Hopefully the player will make a reasonably quick recovery and return when fit again to help us out, as you'd expect the overall loan deal will still stand when he's recovered from this injury.
