Duffy Deal Confirmed

Yeovil Town have confirmed that the paperwork has now been signed and sealed by Everton to extend the loan of defender Shane Duffy.

All that remains is for the Football League to rubber stamp the loan extension.

Shane joined Yeovil back on September 26th, and after impressive performances, manager Gary Johnson made no secret of the fact that he'd like to extend his deal should Everton be willing, and thankfully for us they are pleased with his progress and the experience he is gaining at Huish Park and have agreed a contract extension for a further month.

He will therefore remain with us until at least the end of November.

Since originally joining us, Shane has gone on to make five starting appearances for the club, helping us in that time to five points in our league campaign, four of which came on home soil.

He'll no doubt be hoping to extend that run to at least a further four games as he's now eligible for the clashes against Leeds this weekend, Wigan, Doncaster and Watford.
