Wigan v Glovers - Preview

QPR was tough for The Glovers on Saturday but Wigan at the DW Stadium on Tuesday will be even tougher for us as they're one of the most in form SkyBet Championship sides at the moment.

Wigan have plenty of injury concerns though with Leon Barnett joining the injury list with hamstring injury that will keep him out for a few weeks.

Ben Watson (broken leg), Chris McCann (knee) and Roger Espinoza (hernia) are out with Shaun Maloney (hip) and Gary Caldwell (Achilles) coming back from injuries and playing later today in a development squad game.

The Glovers will have Joe Ralls back at exactly the right time.

His suspension has been served and with Ruben Palazuelos injured in the warm up to the QPR game on Saturday Luke Ayling moved into midfield. Ralls should come back in alongside Joe Edwards in central midfield tonight though with Ayling moving back to right back.

Loanee Duane Holmes went back to Huddersfield on Monday with Kevin Dawson looking to replace him. Kieffer Moore and Tom Lawrence have been suffering and Liam Davis is still a doubt so Gary Johnson has some decisions to make.

An eight game winning streak has seen Wigan, FA Cup semi finalists once again as they look to defend their FA Cup won last season, storm up the SkyBet Championship table into the play offs and they'll take some beating tonight.

The only other meeting between the sides was won by Wigan at Huish Park in November and with just two defeats in 21 games in all competitions and unbeaten in their last nine at home in all competitions do we have much of a chance?

Who would have said that about Wigan against Manchester City in the FA Cup this, and last, season though.
