Blackburn Is Huge - Palazuelos

Midfielder Ruben Palazuelos has said everybody at the club is aware of how important Friday's match against Blackburn Rovers is to the club.

Few will be expecting us to take a victory from the game, but it wouldn't be the first time that we've pulled a rabbit out of the hat this season, and if we have any faint hopes of achieving survival with so few games left now and us being five points shy of safety, a victory is an absolute must, and this hasn't been lost on our recent addition.

Speaking to the Official Site ahead of the game with manager Gary Johnson having already called it a 'must win' match, Palazuelos says anything can happen over the coming four games, and the players will be doing all they can to make sure something happens for us.

'Everything is possible at the moment. There are four games left until the end of the season and we have a 'final' on Friday, we have to get the three points and then see what happens.'

Pala goes on to say that everybody is well aware of the difficult situation we are in at the moment, but five points shy of safety, but with 12 points left to play for, nothing is guaranteed yet but that clearly does pile on the pressure for this match as a win and hopes are really alive again - especially if other results fall our way, but the position of potentially being eight points shy with nine left to play for is an impossible ask really.

'In life everything is possible, we have to win, we have to believe and then see what happens.'
