Leitch-Smith Signs Two Year Deal

Manager Gary Johnson has today signed striker Jay Leitch-Smith on a two year deal.

The 24 year old began his career at Crewe Alexandra having come through their youth academy, and he signed a full time contract with them for 12 months back in 2008.

In his time with them, he went on to make 88 starting appearances, with a further 34 from the bench. Across all competitions he scored 22 times for them, prior to being released this summer.

He's also had loan spells at Halifax, Newcastle Town, IBV in Iceland and Curzon Ashton.

Manager Gary Johnson said.

'I'm very happy to have secured the services of AJ. He has been on lots of clubs radars and I am delighted he has decided to join us here at Yeovil Town.'
