Yeovil 1-1 Reading

Yeovil Town continued their pre season preparations ahead of the coming League One campaign with a one all draw against Championship Reading.

Manager Gary Johnson has now seen the team remain unbeaten so far over our summer schedule, but Reading did take the lead shortly after the half time break through Pavel Pogrebnyak, but we drew level following a goal from the imaginatively titled Trialist B, who had already hit the bar, but converted with 20 minutes remaining to give us a deserved share of the spoils.

Former winger Andy Welsh did start the game, as did former loanee Simon Gillett who looked especially good.

As expected Reading did have the best of the early exchanges and certainly proved to be a good test for us, but as the game went on we did get more into it and it ended a pretty fair contest.
