Match Day referee Ward has officiated 18 games in 2017/18, showing 50 yellow cards and one red card so far.

He took in 41 games in 2016/17 with a return of 150 yellow cards and six red cards.

His highest card count that year was ten yellows in the game between Barnet and Wycombe Wanderers. He also showed eight yellows in the game between Cheltenham Town and Blackpool.
