Referee:

It's all over bar the shouting now for The Glovers as defeat on Monday leaves it just a case of 'mathematical survival' keeping us in the SkyBet Championship now.

Another draw wouldn't have been enough but an injury time winner ensured that we got nothing at Huish Park on Easter Monday with Huddersfield completing the double over us with a 2-1 win.

Like we often have this season we started impressively and within minutes had a good chance but James Hayter could only head Kevin Dawson's cross over the bar.

Another chance came moment later, again with Hayter having this, but having beat Huddersfield goalkeeper Alex Smithies with another header he only ended up rattling the crossbar.

The best Huddersfield could offer up in the first half was a tame Adam Hammill effort that could end up being insulting to Marek Stech if you called it a save.

Tom Lawrence does continue to show that he looks a good prospect and wherever the Manchester United loanee ends up next season, and in the seasons to follow, he should do well.

A freekick destined for the top corner forced Smithies into a good save with Smithies then denying him again. This time though perhaps his decision making was wrong.

A mix up between Anthony Gerrard and Murray Wallace allowed him to charge clean through but the decision to try to round Smithies allowed him to save at his feet.

Huddersfield had flashed an effort wide, with Jonathan Hogg going close, before a penalty appeal by The Glovers was waved away by Stuart Attwell. Lawrence looked like he was fouled in the area but Attwell said no.

Insult was added to injury when Huddersfield then took the lead as Hammill lead a counter attack charge picking out Nahki Wells who made no mistake from close range to put the away side ahead.

We weren't behind for long though.

Lawrence took charge of another freekick and this time he beat the wall and Smithies to equalise just three minutes later to give us hope again.

The Glovers had to attack, we threw all we could at them in the time that was left with the eight minutes of injury time giving us hope of securing the win that we desperately needed to give us hope of avoiding relegation.

Adam Clayton left us stunned though as he fired home the winner for Huddersfield with just second remaining to not only condemn us to defeat, and then a first win in 10, but virtually confirm SkyBet League 1 football at Huish Park again next season.

For us to stay up now we need a set of results that are almost improbable as well as a number of goals to help our goal difference that isn't going to happen.
