Scunthorpe 1 Yeovil 1 - Report

1 - 1

Glanford Park

28/02/15, 3pm

Attendance: 3,783

Stewart, with our goalkeeping coach called into action, looked like he might have earned us a desperately needed win with a penalty save at Scunthorpe on Saturday but in the end we had to make do with a point in the one-one draw at Glanford Park.

We took the lead in the first half when Ugwu's shot was only parried by Scunthorpe 'keeper Daniels but from the rebound, with Grant (28) in the right place, he followed up to put us one-up.

Stewart came into the game when Krysiak sustained a head injury in the first half and with half time approaching, and us deep into injury-time, former striker Madden had the chance to draw Scunthorpe level after he was fouled in the area. He stepped up but Stewart denied him when he saved the resulting penalty.

Scunthorpe did draw level on the hour though when sub Adelakun (61) equalised, but for a better finish late on Kingsley would have won it for us - we had to be content with a one-one draw.

Following this game, as is customary of course, attention now turns to the MotM for us - who you think this was?

Select the name that you want from the list in the poll to your right, but why not also share your thoughts with us on your thinking for that person, and this latest game itself, with some views....
