Swindon 0-1 Yeovil - Report & Highlights

0 - 1

County Ground

18/04/15; 3pm

Maybe Yeovil should have looked to Paul Sturrock a couple of months earlier as he maintained his unbeaten record since taking over with the win at former club Swindon a second win from his three-matches in charge.

A draw against Notts County in his opening game, when we led, was followed up with a win against play-off chasing Sheffield United and that was built on with a one-nil win at the County Ground against Swindon on Saturday.

Swindon, as you would have expected, were in control early on with the post denying Gladwin in the first half, which ended goalless.

With the hour approaching Berrett (58) fired home from the edge of the areas into the corner to put us ahead.

A second would have come but for Sheehan's slice off the line that ended up hitting his own bar but the one goal was enough to see if seven-points from a possible nine-points of offer under Sturrock but we remain rock bottom.

You can see more like this on Yeovil Town Football Club.

Technically we can finish off the bottom, for what it's worth as we'll still go down and if we can win our final two-matches this would be possible, but can we manage that....
